Same size as last year, I don’t think it will be held elsewhere next year though. I had a better time than last year as I went there with things to do, finding places I wanted to look for was hard though & not much in the way of decaf, which was a bit disappointing.
Bought back four of bags of Beans again, 2 decaf this year as I want to cut down on my caffeine intake (Taylor st Baristas, Vagabond, Butterworth & son and THE Truth Coffee from South Africa), plus a a Hario V60 & filters, got a deal on those. I spoke to a grinder retailer who is going to do me a deal on a decent electric grinder. The rest of the stuff I got were freebies or came included in the admission price.
I would say 3 hours is more than enough for a visit. (It gets very busy, noisy & hot) I would say to anyone who is new to taking drinking coffee seriously, its a good day out. You need to get there early though as the queues are manic.
I took even more photos than the last 2 years, see below.
When I came out of there, my head was compared with the last 2 years, that was due to me alternating decaf & normal coffees. Next year I plan on taking my sister & her son, I must be mad….
